Conference: 4FrontED, tourism as an economic and cultural trigger Category: Events

The 4FrontED effort promotes economic development, infrastructure, education and tourism, in the binational megaregion, which is located at the intersection of four states: Arizona, Baja California, California and Sonora.

The binational megaregion has immediate access to a 53 million consumers market between the U.S. and Mexico, a diverse workforce, a climate conducive to agriculture and livestock, landscapes that invite to outdoors activities, as well as a unique cultural background. All these aspects represent opportunities for investment, economic development, entertainment, artistic expressions, among others.

In that context, tourism and culture play a fundamental role in generating an economic impact; together, they create the necessity to live the experience in each of the cities and towns that are part of our binational megaregion (Yuma, San Luis, Somerton, Wellton, San Luis Río Colorado, Mexicali, Calexico, El Centro, the Cocopah and Quechan Tribes).

4FrontED actively represents and promotes the union of four states, two nations and a powerful region.

Venue: AgroBaja grounds located at Kilometro 7.5 Carretera Mexicali - San Felipe, Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.
