MOU's
The Education Committee's primary objective is broadening the educational exchange between the binational megaregion's educational institutions, which includes universities and colleges within Yuma County, Arizona; San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora; and Mexicali, Baja California.

On October 24, 2023, members of the 4FrontED Governing Group, along with other regional leaders, participated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony between the Universidad Estatal de Sonora, the University of Arizona – Yuma Campus, the Northern Arizona University – Yuma Campus, Arizona State University – Yuma Campus, and Arizona Western College.
This partnership between the universities, the college, 4FrontED, and Elevate Southwest highlights the importance of collaboration in education, workforce development, STEM programs, agricultural technology, and binational business programs, among other areas.
